Textile Art Care Tips
Enjoy your hand-stitched fabric art for many years to come with these easy care tips:
Display indoors
Your art is intended for indoor use only.
Keep dry
Avoid getting your art and fabric scrap earrings wet.
Hang on the wall or display on a tabletop
Easily display your art by hanging it on then wall with a nail or pin in the gap below the hoop-tightening screw. Alternatively, display your hoop on a flat surface with a stand, like this one.
Avoid full-day direct sunlight
Preserve your art’s vivid colors and avoid fabric fading by displaying your art in a location where it will not be hit with sustained beams of direct sunlight all day long. Displaying your art in a location that experiences diffused natural light or artificial light are both great options.
Clean with care
Use care when removing dust. Very gently use air to remove dust from the front of your art, and carefully wipe the hoop and any beads with a soft, dry cloth.
Carefully snip stray threads
Due to the rustic nature of this art form, slight fraying is normal. If you do want to mitigate this, use very sharp embroidery shears or fabric scissors to snip any errant threads or fabric strays from your art. Be sure to never cross the line of stitching.
